THE ALL SEEING I
THE ALL SEEING I is an 8x6 signed print on heavy paper. It’s not the divine providence one with all the implied wisdom. My all seeing I sees NADA. Nothing. Socrates was right you know. “The only true wisdom,” he wrote, “ is in knowing you know nothing.”
Totally baffled by the world around me, I can’t see clearly. Maybe it’s because I’m squinting so I can’t see what I see. Yeesh.
The real “All Seeing Eye”symbol has been hanging around for years. It’s on buildings and the dollar bill. It’s usually in a triangle because of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost etc. For my eye, I adapted an old anatomical etching and added a blue eye. And NADA.
