MINNESOTA MUSTACHE MAN is an 8x6 signed, limited edition print on heavy paper. It’s made with a repurposed b&w found cabinet card from the Miller Studio in Minneapolis. It was colored and a sky added. It’s mounted on a barber pole pattern and knicked with razor blades. The ad is for the Acme Mustache Guard from the Acme Novelty Co in Omaha, Nebraska. The guard offered “solid comfort while eating. No napkin use. Does not interfere with free use of mouth. Made of gold and silver plate. Every genteel person should have one. Price, $2.00.”
