It was made with a found cabinet card from the late 1800s of four Philadelphia cutups photographed in Meymen & Companies photo studio. The background is an ice cold glass of Hires Root Beer. A piece of an old Hires advertisement was added. Hires was introduced in 1876 by pharmacist Charles Elmer Hires. It is one of oldest continuously made soft drinks in the U.S. “Join Health and Cheer.
