TWO JAPANESE LADIES IN LOVE
TWO JAPANESE LADIES IN LOVE is a 7x5 work on paper. It consists of a found b&w photo hand-colored with prisma markers, paint pen, ink, and then rubber stamped with the wabi-sabi symbol. The appropriated background is adapted from the block-print Snow Crystals (Hokuetsu seppu) originally made in 1836 (Edo) for the cover of Snows of the North Country.
