THE FORUNE TELLER
THE FORTUNE TELLER has as its central image an unknown fortune teller and her crystal ball from a repurposed 1930's b&w photo by Russell Froelich who was a newspaper photographer in St. Louis, Missouri from 1915 – 1950. The photo was blown up, cut out, colored (photo dyes, markers, acrylic) and mounted on top of a copy of an illustration for "Fontaine's Golden Wheel Dream Book and Fortune-Teller." The various pieces were then glued to 6.75x6 cardstock paper.
