DOUBLE HEADED DONALD PHRENOLOGICALLY SPEAKING is a 8x6 limited edition, signed print. It adapts one of the “scientific” images from phrenology, a pseudoscientific theory begun in the 19th century. Phrenologists believed skull shape and its bumps and crannies told everything one needed to know about the owner’s character including intelligence and character, and even taste in art. The more frenetic Phrenos believed skulls were predictors of one’s future.
In my adaptation the words and top image and all the words are reproduced. However on the bottom I replaced a black line drawing of a head with my colored image of you know who.
