BABE RUTH HOW TO PLAY BASEBALL IN JAPANESE

BABE RUTH’S HOW TO PLAY BASEBALL IN JAPANESE is an original 8x6 limited edition print. The central image is the cover of the 1931 American book, “How to Play Baseball” as it was published in Japanese. I adapted the cover and mounted it on my design Yankee logos. The image on the bottom left refers to 1928 Babe Ruth record and sheet sheet music book created to celebrate Ruth. It was titled "We Know what he can do.” And we now know what he went on to do. 714 runs by the time he retired in June of 1935. His record would stand until Hank Aaron broke it in April of 1974. On the right is a signed ball homered by The Babe.
