This is a second version of Sandra Laments YOLO. It's a 7X5 digitally created work in a signed multiple of ten adapted from a large (sold) acrylic painting of mine. The original painting was adapted from a 1940s heart breaking, romance comic book largely distributed to Black readers. It is mounted on a polka dotted background. The word YOLO was added to this work. Its current meaning (probably already past its use-by-date) is YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE. So Cupid's been nasty to you? Or you broke a nail?
