GOSH BUT I'M HAPPY!
GOSH I'M HAPPY is a 40x40 acrylic painting on a stretched canvas.I made it using a found 1940's black and white photo of a woman I enlarged and colored it with photo dyes and acrylics on a painted background. Various drugs were added. It is about artificially induced happiness. Think of the pill popping in The White Lotus, or any other place in America. Recreational drugs can become deadly. Wrecked lives drugs. Sacklers anyone? But I digress. Gosh but we're happy! Aren't we?
