ADAM AND EVE SWIPE RIGHT is an 8x6 limited edition, signed print. It was made with images adapted from a wooden folk art santos which had the two figures of Adam and Eve in it. I adapted an illustration from a French manuscript (“A Compilation of Medieval Works of Art Related to Apples and Orchards) for the background and threw in some grass and a snake because it is believed she was in the Garden.
In Darren T’s ”Fruit History,” he wrote that the illustration I adapted was probably by a 19th century French artist. That artist put a dragon, or “wyrm,” personifying evil in the orchard. Dragon.
