GIRL WITH CIGAR AND PEONIES
GIRL WITH CIGAR AND PEONIES is an 8x6 limited edition, signed print on heavy paper. I used a found sepia photograph of a woman smoking a cigar. I am guessing very lat 1800s. I colorized and mounted the photo on an adaptation of old cigar box label. It shows medals for prize-winning tobacco hanging from pink ribbons and, for some reason, peonies (I think…) Note the tobacco workers in the background.
